A. A provisional booking can be made at any time even prior to departure for your holiday in Ireland (if travelling from overseas)

A. For bookings made by e-mail the sailing dates must be confirmed by phone two days before departure

Q. How often are the sailings to the Skelligs and what time does the trip start
A. There is one sailing a day departing from : Valentia @ 10.00hrs. Renard @ 10.05hrs. Portmagee @ 1030hrs. View and print area map.

Q. Is the trip to the Skelligs weather dependant
A. Yes the trip is weather dependant and the boatmen make the decision early each morning. Contact on the morning of your trip is important to confirm if the boat is sailing

Q. What kind of clothes do I need to bring
A. You will need warm clothes as even on the finest day the boat trip can be chilly (bring rucksack or bag to carry the extra clothes) once you arrive on the island temp rises to same as on the mainland. Footware should be sensible walking shoes.

Q. Is there a restaurant on the Skelligs Island
A. No there is no restaurant or shop on the Island. It is advisable to bring a light lunch for the trip, especially non alcoholic drinks.
